2. Fix the glazing bar rails to the roof structure.
3. Add the glass or polycarbonate panels, making sure they’re positioned correctly.
4. Fit sealing gaskets or rubber seals to prevent leaks from forming.
5. Secure the glazing bar caps onto the base rails using a clip or screw. This is to lock the panels in place.
6. Seal any edges and ensure proper alignment and drainage.

How to install roof flashing against a wall?

To install roof flashing that’s against a wall, you can follow this effective method:

1. Prepare the area by cleaning the area of the wall and roof where the flashing will be installed, and ensure any loose mortar and debris is removed.
2. Install base flashing by laying the lower section onto the roof covering, allowing water to flow naturally. 
3. Secure the base flashing to the roof deck or battens with suitable fixings or adhesive, depending on the type of system.
4. If necessary, cut into the wall by cutting a narrow groove in the wall mortar joint to ensure a proper seal. 
5. Seal the chase using a suitable sealant or by repointing the mortar, locking in the flashing for a watertight seal.
6. Check any overlaps or issues with the drainage by ensuring the laps face downhill.
